GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:

Course content reflects the intellectual interests shared by the students and the teacher.  These include the arts, current events, literature, sports, etc.  These areas of interest are used to achieve communication: (a) the ability to comprehend formal and informal spoken French; (b) the acquisition of vocabulary and a grasp of structure to allow the easy, accurate reading of newspaper an magazine articles as well as of modern Francophone literature; © the ability to compose expository passages; and (d) the ability to express ideas orally with accuracy and ease.
