Roslyn High School is located in the beautiful residential, suburban community of Roslyn Heights on the North Shore of Long Island, 20 miles east of New York City. The school has over 1,100 students and 100 staff members, including faculty, administration and support staff.
Our students engage in a rigorous academic program while at the same time taking advantage of the opportunities provided by more 50 clubs and organizations, a three-season athletic program, and creative and performing arts programs. This provides the foundation for a well-rounded educational experience for every child.
The academic program features about 20 Advanced Placement courses, an award-winning research program, and comprehensive elective offerings across all disciplines. The building is equipped with state of the art technology such as SmartBoards in every classroom. A focus on providing 21st-century skills to prepare our students for college and careers, a new initiative is introducing iPads as an integral part of their educational experience.
Every student is provided with multiple opportunities to explore their individual interests and find avenues of success in a range of pursuits.
