SEPT 30, 2013 - The new field house at Roslyn High School opened in time for Homecoming on September 28. The project, which entailed a thorough renovation of the existing field house and the construction of a second structure adjacent to it, was made possible by a public-private partnership. Funding was provided by the Roslyn Bulldogs Booster Association through its private fundraising efforts, a legislative grant from New York State, and the school district's capital reserves. The new facility doubles the available storage space and provides new restrooms for athletes and spectators.
The restrooms will remains open during daylight hours for residents who use the track and field. (As the buildings are not heated, the water will have to be turned off once temperatures drops below freezing at night after November 1.)
