    Facilities & Operations Department

    The Facilities & Operations Department is dedicated to creating and maintaining the best learning environment possible for the students, staff, and faculty at Roslyn School District. We are responsible for the comprehensive management and maintenance of all district properties, encompassing over 570,000 square feet of buildings and 75 acres of grounds. 

    Each day, over 3,000 children and nearly 830 staff members enter three elementary and two secondary buildings (including the Hilltop Academy). Our team provides services including general housekeeping, assisting with equipment and supplies, maintaining heating and air conditioning systems, athletic and building events, grounds maintenance, extensive building repairs, and other duties to ensure a pleasant, healthful, and safe environment for children and adults. The department also ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. 

    By effectively coordinating these activities, the Facilities and Operations Department supports the district's educational mission and promotes the well-being of students, staff, and visitors.
