    Adult Education Mural Right

Students in Roslyn High School’s Art Club in 2016-17 created a striking mural for Adult Education on the wall opposite our classrooms on the lower level of the school.  Measuring eight feet high and nearly 60 feet long, the mural portrays five individuals who achieved notable accomplishments late in life.  Student artists were Kristen Barsoum, Lucy Huang, Stanley Huang, Young Kang, Alison Mei and Jasmine Ting. Their faculty advisor was Laurie Schoenberg.

Adult Education classes and trips are suspended as of Friday, March 13, until further notice. This applies to classes at our Roslyn and Herricks locations.

This is one of numerous measures the schools are taking to reduce the number of visitors and group gatherings during the coronavirus outbreak, and is made in the interest of the health of our participants and staff.

For classes that have already started, we will make every effort to resume at a later date, and will notify you if/when we have a re-start date. If we are unable to do so, we will provide pro-rated credits and/or refunds for all participants.

For classes that have not yet started, we will provide refunds for any cancellations. We would prefer to delay issuing refunds right now for classes that begin later in the semester, on the hope that we may return to a more normal schedule at some point. If you wish to withdraw now, please send us an email and let us know and we will refund your registration promptly. Refunds will be credited to the charge account you used to register.

We wish all of our participants good health, and hope to see you again later in the spring.

Roslyn has a coronvirus information page: www.roslynschools.org/coronavirus

Driver Education classes and driving instruction will be suspended for the duration of the school closing for the COVID-19 pandemic. We have no guidance from the State Education Department at this time regarding waivers for attendance requirements in Driver Education. We will update our students when we have more information.
