Farewell Tributes to a Beloved Educator

JUNE 6, 2019 - Colleagues, parents and students have been paying tribute to Regina Colardi, who is retiring at the end of the school year. Ms. Colardi has been a member of the Roslyn staff for 32 years, including the last 16 years as Heights School principal. For many years before that she was a beloved Kindergarten teacher who is remembered with great fondness by a generation of Roslyn children and parents.

(2) Assistant Principal Michelle Hazen (2nd from left) and PFA Co-Presidents Jennifer Steinberg and Shuli Lubin joined other colleagues and parents to dedicate a book corner in the Heights School library on June 6. More than 200 books have been donated — a fitting tribute to an educator who spent part of her career as a reading teacher and has spent decades instilling a love of reading in her students.
