East Hills students in Ms. McAdams and Ms. Schlessel's classes celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by exploring his character traits and reflecting on his iconic I Have a Dream speech. After learning about his message of hope and equality, the class brainstormed dreams for their school and community. In an open discussion, they shared ideas and then wrote their personal dreams on heart-shaped cutouts.
