On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, a recognition ceremony was held inside the Roslyn High School auditorium to celebrate the Roslyn High School’s Marching Bulldogs first place win in the Small School Division 1 category at the 2024 New York State Field Band Conference Championship and to congratulate the Roslyn Varsity Boys Volleyball Team for winning the Nassau County Division 2B Volleyball Championship.

An abundance of students were in attendance, along with Band Director Frank Mauriello, Coach Mark Steinmuller, staff, and parents. After greetings from Superintendent Allison Brown, Roslyn Board of Education President Meryl Waxman Ben-Levy gave remarks and presented certificates of recognition. Also present to represent the BOE was Trustee Alison Gilbert. Several elected officials joined the ceremony to give remarks and present citations, including: Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman; Nassau County Comptroller Elaine Phillips; Legislator Samantha Goetz, State Senator Jack Martins, Town of North Hempstead Jen DeSena, and Town of North Hempstead Councilman Ed Scott.
