Sixty-five Roslyn High School students were among 2,600 participants who competed in the 2023 New York State DECA Competition—held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, NY from March 8-10. 

Nineteen of the Roslyn students qualified for the National Competition, to be held April 22-26 in Orlando, FL. Forty-four students earned top ten medallions in 21 categories. 

DECA is a not-for-profit student career organization that prepares young adults to become innovative leaders in four areas: marketing, hospitality, financing, and management. They have 250,000 members worldwide. Students compete at the regional level, then the state level to reach the national/international level of competition.
