Roslyn High School Announces Class of 2023 Valedictorian and Salutatorian!

Roslyn High School is pleased to announce that Jake Konigsberg has been named Valedictorian and Kristi Lam has been named Salutatorian of the Class of 2023. 

Valedictorian Jake Konigsberg earned a grade-point average of 107.341. Jake is a Regeneron ISEF Finalist, a National Merit Finalist, and an AP Scholar with Distinction. He is the president of the Medical Explorers Club and table tennis intramural, captain of the Science Olympiad Club and Congressional Debate Branch, and an executive board member of the Ethics and Government Club. Outside of school, Jake spends a lot of time serving as a leading advocate and regional board member for the American Cancer Society, volunteering at a local hospital, and running a local volunteer organization. Jake will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.

Salutatorian Kristi Lam earned a grade-point average of 106.244. Kristi is a USA Biology Olympiad Semifinalist, a National Merit Commended Scholar, and an AP Scholar with Distinction. She is a member of the National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, President of the Science National Honor Society, Co-President of the Astronomy Club, and a captain of the Science Olympiad team. Kristi spends many of her after school hours at the Cold Spring Harbor Research Lab researching plant genetics in their Partners for the Future program. She also volunteers in the Young Adult Advisory Council and the Roslyn Chapter of Letters for Rose. An avid hiker, she hopes to further her studies in Environmental Science & Engineering and contribute to worldwide conservation efforts in the future.
