    Dear Roslyn Families,


    The Office of Pupil Personnel Services will be hosting Community Workshops over the course of this school year to assist ALL of our Roslyn families in navigating through various topics such as health, technology and academics. Each session starts at 7pm and will be approximately 45 minutes in length, with an additional 15 minutes for Questions and Answers. I am honored to be moderating each session:


    September 29, 2020 

    Dr. Ronald Marino, Roslyn School District Medical Director

    Tips for getting through the school year from a health perspective. Dr. Marino will talk about healthy and safe habits for families to incorporate during the school year.


    October 26, 2020

    Mrs. Rosemary Schaefer, Licensed Behavior Analyst

    Ms. Schaefer will demystify the term “executive function” and explain why these skills are an increasingly important aspect of every child’s education, especially in today’s ever-changing world and education landscape.


    November 30, 2020

    Mrs. Christin Baudin, Speech Pathologist/Assistive Technology Consultant

    Ms. Baudin will explore Universal Design for Learning and Assistive Technology

    Ms. Kristin Harris, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

    Anxiety and school refusal are common problems in children and adolescents. Ms. Harris will talk about practical strategies and interventions that can be used to tackle this growing issue.
