This is a message from the Roslyn School District regarding our school breakfast and lunch program.
The USDA recently announced that all school districts participating in the National School Lunch Program could temporarily serve free meals to all students until December 31, 2020 or when funds are exhausted, whichever comes first.
Therefore, beginning Tuesday, September 29, 2020, breakfast and lunch will be available at no cost to any student wishing to receive these meals. Please note snacks and drinks (water/Snapple/Hals/Adam & Eve) are not included.
This program applies to students on remote learning days and in-person learning days. As a reminder, remote pick-up locations and times are listed below. If there are any changes to the USDA’s free meal program or our pickup locations & times, an updated message will be sent out to our school community.
All families that have previously participated in the Free and Reduced Program are still required to submit an application.
We will continue our weekly food distribution as per the schedule below:
- Every Monday from 10am to 12pm (If Monday falls on a school holiday, distribution will be on Tuesday)
- Distribution location: Roslyn High School Parking Lot (east side at the end of the wall)
