Introduction to Research

This one-semester class is the prerequisite to Roslyn’s Science Research Program. In it students will:

• Learn the basics of research design and statistics
• Design and execute a group project on a topic of their choice
• Have the opportunity to enter their project into a research competition

• The class will only be offered in the Fall
• The class is the prerequisite for Research Essentials

Research Essentials

This class is for students taking Introduction to Research in the fall who want to:

• Hone their oral and written presentation skills
• Develop their ability to synthesize complicated ideas and express them clearly
• Cultivate the ability to decode complex scientific texts

Note: 

• This class will only be offered in the spring and can be taken in place of Writing Enrichment by students who complete Introduction to Research in the fall.
