Tanya Baptiste
Director of Guidance and Counseling K-12Today more than ever, the Roslyn High School Counseling Department is keenly aware of the importance of fostering an educational culture in which a balance of academic achievement and healthy social-emotional growth can be found. At the core of our educational philosophy is the desire to diminish barriers for all students as they work to pursue attainable goals.
Our counseling staff is committed to providing the professional knowledge, skills and services necessary to help every student succeed in his/her academic accomplishments, personal/social-emotional growth and post-secondary college and career planning pursuits.
Our core is strengthened by working collaboratively with students, families and key stake holders as we encourage students to become life-long learners, leaders and innovators who seek to make positive contributions to their community and society at large.
