Counseling Department meets with RMS students to select HS courses

The Roslyn Counseling Department met individually with 8th grade Roslyn Middle School students on January 23rd and 24th to help them select their main and elective courses for 9th grade. Roslyn offers an amazing 56 electives; counselors were excited to help students choose the courses that best suited their needs and interests.

“Although we have several other articulation events planned for later in the year, the counseling team felt strongly that guiding the students through the course selection process at this juncture will help create a seamless transition to the high school this fall,” said Director of Guidance Tanya Baptiste. “Also, getting to know the incoming class of 2027 was a two-fold benefit!”
