Persepolis - Story of a Childhood GN
By Marjane Satrapi- This book presents what happened in Iran in 1971 (Iranian/Islamic Revolution). This is Majane Satrapi's life during the revloution, it shows how they were forced to wear veils and follow the religion of Islam. The artwork helps show the action that's happening and it also shows, how they were tortured and killed in prison. The book's artwork and color sets the mood. I would really recommend this book to anyone because it is a very interesting story on what happen to the Satrapi family and the people of Iran during the revolution.
