Throughout February, Heights elementary students dove into the inspiring stories and achievements of African Americans with a Black History Month Scavenger Game—a fun, interactive challenge that turned learning into an adventure!

Each day, classrooms received three mystery envelopes filled with clues about a famous Black American. Students were tasked with uncovering the name, then searched the hallways in search of the person’s photo, where a special QR code awaited them. A quick scan unlocked a video, bringing history to life as students returned to class to learn more.
