Heights Students make Gingerbread Houses
Heights Elementary School hosted their annual tradition of making gingerbread houses throughout the month of December. For the first time in several years, parents were invited to return and take part in the fun.
Each kindergarten and first grade class received a time slot to gather in the cafeteria, then delighted in turning foil-covered milk containers into unique designs, using frosting, graham crackers, and various types of candy. Finished houses were wrapped in plastic for the journey home.
