Roslyn High School’s RTV program brought home four honors at the annual Broadcast Awards for Senior High (BASH) Awards—held May 22, 2025 at Hofstra University. Hosted annually, the awards are a celebration of excellence in high school media and broadcasting. Recognized for creativity, storytelling, and technical skill, the wins are especially impressive for such a new program at Roslyn High School.

Competing in five categories, Roslyn’s RTV students placed in four, including:

• 1st Place – Best Opening Segment: Nikki D’Elia and Niko Quadri

• 2nd Place – Best Short Broadcast: Zachary Kuppersmith, Kapri Leonardi

• 2nd Place – Best Sports Feature: Miles Papadopoulos and Kapri Leonardi

• 3rd Place – Best Human Interest Feature: Maxwell Cohen
  
  

“I am so unbelievably proud of all of the RTV students,” said Ms. Milonakis, who leads the program. “This is only our second year of RTV and to walk away with four awards is truly incredible. I feel we really made a name for ourselves within the high school media broadcasting industry and I couldn't be more impressed and proud of this year's crew.”
