Roslyn High School’s newspaper, The Hilltop Beacon, won multiple awards at the 2025 Quill Awards at Adelphi University's Press Day on February 14, 2025. The Hilltop Beacon took home Second Place for Best Overall Newspaper. Emilee Youn won First Place for Most Outstanding Reporter; Ben Davidson was honored with a First Place title for Best Opinion; Andrew Wharton took home Third Place for Best Sports Story.

"Putting together a newspaper is a true labor of love; it is so exciting to see our students' and advisors' hard work and dedication pay off," said English Chair Jennifer Sapir.
