Winter Wonderland

Ms. Sabrina Roy's first-grade class had a winter wonderland celebration on Wednesday, December 20th at Harbor Hill School. The room was filled with winter decorations and the students were cozy in their pajamas. One of the main activities of the day was winter stations. Students built igloos with marshmallows and toothpicks, molded arctic animals with play-doh, and measured mittens with marshmallows. The students also decorated a penguin glyph where the colors and accessories were determined after students answered various winter opinion questions.

“It was such a fun day! The students especially loved the winter stations. I was so impressed with how creative they were when making the marshmallow igloos and molding the Play-Doh into different arctic animals,” said Ms. Roy.
