RMS Students Enjoy Blind Date with a Book

Roslyn Middle School students had a great time participating in the library’s first Blind Date with a Book event. During the month of February, students were encouraged to select a wrapped book that had only a few keywords written on the cover to pique their interest. Many students were surprised that they made good choices without seeing the illustration and description on the cover.

"Students were so excited to see all the beautifully wrapped books. The mystery of not knowing which title they would unwrap, led to a great deal of discussion and engagement,” said English teacher Marigrace Cirringione.
