Roslyn Welcomes New Dean at RHS

The Roslyn School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Bozza as the new Dean of Roslyn High School. Mr. Bozza brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership, teaching, and student support to his new role. His first day with the district will be January 5, 2026.

Mr. Bozza joins Roslyn after serving as Middle School Dean at IS 59 in Queens since 2019, where he oversaw student discipline and safety, coordinated school crisis responses, and implemented programs to improve attendance and engagement. 

A dedicated educator, Mr. Bozza has extensive classroom experience, teaching Social Studies at both middle and high school levels in New York and Virginia. He has developed curriculum and pacing guides, led professional development for staff, and implemented programs to support student success and enrichment.

Mr. Bozza holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Old Dominion University, a Master of Education from the University of Mary Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts in History. He is certified as a New York State School Building Leader and holds teaching credentials in social studies in both New York and Virginia.

Beyond academics, Mr. Bozza has a strong background in coaching, having led teams in baseball, soccer, track, and volleyball, fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among his students.
