Roslyn BOE Conducts Districtwide Tour of Campus

On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, members of the Roslyn Board of Education conducted their annual districtwide tour to review completed campus improvements and to inspect that all schools were ready to welcome back students and staff for the 26-27 school year.

The tour, led by Assistant to the Superintendent for Administration and Special Projects Thomas Szajkowski, kicked off at Roslyn High School with BOE President Meryl Waxman Ben-Levy and the BOE Trustees, along with Superintendent Allison Brown, Roslyn High School Principal Dr. Dave Lazarus, and Assistant Principal Sandra Steuber.

At Roslyn High School, the BOE saw the newly unveiled Bulldog Alumni Board, an interactive installation designed to connect current students with the achievements and career pathways of Roslyn graduates. They also saw several revitalized classroom spaces,  newly polished gym floors, and the installation of durable, modern carpeting in the auditorium. 

At Roslyn Middle School, improvements included new carpeting and an HVAC upgrade in the library, as well as a new oil tank. At Heights, improvements included exterior concrete repairs and a new oil tank to improve long-term reliability and heating efficiency. Other campus improvements included targeted classroom upgrades at Harbor Hill and polished gym floors at every school.
