RHS Seniors Share Research with Introductory Students

At the end of January, six Roslyn High School seniors—Mahin Gupta, Serin Jo, Yael Novak, Tyler Ostrow, Mingyao Xu, and Ava Zokai—presented their research to students in the Introduction to Research class. Topics ranged from the stigma surrounding GLP-1 medications like Ozempic to programming drones to detect plastic waste in hard-to-reach environments.

Introduction to Research students said the presentations gave them valuable insight as they prepare for upcoming competitions, while seniors appreciated the opportunity to refine their own work. The event was organized by Dr. Allyson Weseley, Vincent Kreyling, Andrea Pearlman.
