Residents Pass 2026-2027 Roslyn School District Budget

The Roslyn community demonstrated its continued commitment to educational excellence with the successful passage of the Roslyn School District’s 2026–2027 budget. The spending plan reflects the district’s continued investment in innovative learning opportunities, student support services, campus improvements, and responsible financial stewardship. The approved budget increase is below the New York State tax cap. 

Voters also passed Proposition 2, the 2026-2027 budget for the Bryant Library; Proposition 3, giving the district authorization to purchase various school buses and vans; Proposition 4, approving a $3.5 million capital proposition funded through the district’s 2017 Capital Reserve; and Proposition 5, the establishment of a new 2026 Capital Reserve Fund of up to $45 million dollars over 25 years. Residents re-elected Meryl Waxman Ben-Levy and Leigh Minsky to serve as Trustees on the Roslyn School District Board of Education.

I am especially grateful to our outstanding educators and staff whose commitment, innovation, and care define our schools and make Roslyn a truly exceptional place to learn. I also want to congratulate Meryl Waxman Ben-Levy and Leigh Minsky for their re-election to the Roslyn Board of Education.
