Little Leaders at East Hills Celebrate Women’s History Month
Students in Ms. Lee’s third grade class at East Hills Elementary School completed a meaningful Women's History Month project titled “Little Leaders: Bold Women in Our Lives.”
Inspired by Vashti Harrison’s book Little Leaders, students researched and wrote about influential women who have made a difference in their own lives. Through thoughtful writing and creativity, each child highlighted personal stories of strength, inspiration, and leadership.
The project culminated in a published class book, allowing students to proudly share their work with family members. This collaborative effort not only strengthened writing skills, but also encouraged students to reflect on the impact of the important women around them.
