Standing Ovations for Les Misérables at RHS
Roslyn High School’s production of Les Misérables was nothing short of extraordinary!
The Royal Crown Players delivered three live performances (March 26–28) filled with heart, power, and unforgettable emotion, bringing Victor Hugo’s epic story to life. From breathtaking vocals to electrifying ensemble moments, every scene showcased the creativity, dedication, and passion that defines Excellence Elevated at Roslyn High School.
Directed by Christina Cinnamo and Jill Fedun, with music direction by Douglas Aliano, the production brought to life the sweeping story of Jean Valjean, portrayed by Dylan Sakaria, alongside Denis Calos as Javert, Adriana Pincic as Fantine, Safiya Bhuiyan as Cosette, Teddy Hua as Marius, and Joelle Lim as Éponine. Their performances captured the emotional depth and power of this timeless story set against the backdrop of revolutionary France.
Featuring iconic musical numbers such as “I Dreamed a Dream,” “One Day More,” and “Bring Him Home,” the show highlighted the strength of Roslyn’s performing arts program. Dozens of students contributed both on stage and behind the scenes, supported by a full pit orchestra and technical crew.
