Harbor Hill Moving Up Ceremony

Harbor Hill Elementary School celebrated their fifth-grade students during a moving up ceremony, June 24, 2026, in the Roslyn High School auditorium. The ceremony, held at 9 a.m., was led by Principal Michelle Hazen and Assistant Principal Dan Mulhall.

The ceremony opened with the fifth-graders proudly processing into the auditorium to the traditional strains of “Pomp and Circumstance.” Students took a trip down memory lane, recalling their fondest memories. Roslyn Board of Education President Meryl Waxman Ben-Levy addressed students and families, and Harbor Hill PFA co-presidents Raysha Desai and Emily Dimakopoulos each gave remarks. In attendance were Superintendent Allison Brown and Roslyn Middle School Principal Justin Gabrus, who offered congratulations and expressed his excitement to meet them when school resumes in the fall. Family members and loved ones cheered and applauded as each student received their promotion certificate.
