2026 RHS Graduation Ceremony

Roslyn High School celebrated its 120th Commencement Ceremony on June 26, 2026, at The Tilles Center at Long Island University, honoring the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 and marking another milestone in the district's tradition of “Excellence. Elevated.”

To the familiar strains of “Pomp and Circumstance,” 274 graduates processed into the arena, greeted by the enthusiastic applause of family members, friends, faculty, and district leaders gathered to celebrate the occasion.

The ceremony opened with the Presentation of Colors and the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by performances of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and the Roslyn High School Alma Mater by the Senior Chorus.

Principal Dr. Dave Lazarus welcomed graduates and guests, reflecting on the Class of 2026's achievements and the journey that brought them to this milestone. OCC President Zach Marshall addressed the audience, followed by Roslyn Board of Education President Meryl Waxman Ben-Levy, who congratulated the graduates and recognized the tremendous support of their families and educators.

Superintendent Allison Brown encouraged graduates to embrace challenges with confidence, reminding them that some of the world's most extraordinary accomplishments have come from those who refused to accept perceived limitations. She urged the Class of 2026 to pursue bold ideas, solve difficult problems, and strive to make a meaningful impact wherever their paths may lead.

Valedictorian Benjamin Davidson and Salutatorian Matthew Lin shared heartfelt reflections on their years at Roslyn High School, celebrating the friendships, experiences, and lessons that shaped their educational journeys while looking ahead to the opportunities that await.

The ceremony culminated with the presentation of diplomas, as each graduate crossed the stage to the cheers of loved ones, officially joining the proud legacy of Roslyn High School alumni.
