20 RHS Seniors Named Commended Students in 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program
Twenty Roslyn High School seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Congratulations to: Ezra Benaharon, Molly Borkon, Leah Chan, Hyun Chavez, Carina Dai, Ethan David, Orla Gajwani, Esther Han, Isaac Katayev, Brayden Kui, Amanda Li, Vivian Lin, Russell Plotnitzky, Sophie Rosenman, Darren Shen, Ethan Wang, Jasmine Wang, Andrew Wharton, Jack Yin, Katelyn Zheng.
These students are among 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2026 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, these commended students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2027 competition by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
