New Student Registration
In order to register your child, you and the child must be physically domiciled at your Roslyn address. All registration instructions and documents can be found in the packets below.
Please be sure to bring the following to the in-person portion of registration:
- Original or certified copy of the child's birth certificate
*If the birth certificate is in another language, it must have an official English translation. - Parents' ID (license or passport)
- Disclosure statement (must be notarized)
- Proof of residency (see list in registration packet)
- Signed computer release form
- Health office form
- NYS school health examination form and list of immunizations
*Even if your child is due for a physical soon, please bring their most recent immunization list. - Home Language Questionnaire
- Transfer of student records form
*For all new Middle School and HS students, please make sure to also bring the most recent report card/transcript from the previous school. - If your child has any special education needs, please let the registrar know prior to the in-person appointment.
The above items must be approved by Central Registration before your child can be registered.
Section 210.45 of the Penal Law of New York State prohibits the making of a punishable false written statement. False statements knowingly made are punishable by a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in prison or a fine of up to $1000. The District will rely on your representation with respect to residency. You will be legally responsible for inaccuracy or misrepresentation of the facts, including, but not limited to, the payment of tuition and attorney's fees.

Kindergarten 2026-2027

In person registration will begin the week of March 9.

The program will be located at:
Academic Explorers 23 Store Hill Rd.
Old Westbury, NY 11568.
the program will run from Monday through Friday for five hours daily and will follow the Roslyn School District calendar.
Transportation is not provided. Continuation of this program depends on annual state funding.
All applications must be submitted by Friday, February 27, 2026
The lottery will take place in the beginning of March and in-person registration will be held mid-April.
Your child must be 4 years old between 12/2/21-12/1/22 in order to qualify for the program.

An online account MUST be created in PowerSchool in order to register.
Once the account is opened, you will see a page where you can schedule the in-person appointment to bring in all registration documents.
