Chocolate Milk & Whole Milk

The United States Department of Agriculture National School Lunch Program, in conjunction with the NYS Education Department Child Nutrition Program, has issued updated guidance regarding sugar in flavored milk served in school meal programs. In accordance with these new requirements, we will no longer offer chocolate milk, as it does not meet the required nutritional standards for added sugars. The Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act of 2025 now allows schools to serve whole and 2% milk in federally funded school lunches, which the Roslyn School District follows.
