Food & Nutrition
Welcome to the Office of Food & Nutrition
The Food and Nutrition Department of the school district is responsible for providing students with nutritious, appealing, and safe meals that support their health, well-being, and academic success.
This department plans and prepares breakfast and lunch menus that meet federal and state nutritional guidelines, manages food purchasing and inventory, and ensures food safety and sanitation standards are upheld in all kitchens. It also oversees meal programs such as free and reduced-price lunches, promotes healthy eating habits, and works to accommodate students with special dietary needs. Through its efforts, the department plays a vital role in fostering a positive dining experience and supporting the overall wellness of the school community.
