Dear Parents/Guardians:
Each year we inform parents about a trip to the Bahamas. This trip is neither school-sponsored nor endorsed by the administration. It raises many concerns about the safety of our students. Please use good judgment when making your decision as to whether or not you allow your child to go.
Please discuss these topics with your child. We would like to remind you, once again, of the following:
The intent of vacations is for the rejuvenation of the mind and body. The purpose is for families to get an opportunity to be with one another. Again, we encourage you to consider your child's safety before making your decision.

Kevin Scanlon, Roslyn High School PrincipalWe are pleased to announce that the Roslyn High School Graduation 2008 will be re-scheduled to Friday, June 27, 2008 at 3:00pm at the Tilles Center.
Many factors were considered in making this decision. By rescheduling graduation to a Friday, we are able to accommodate families who, because of religious observances, may not have been able to attend their child's and/or grandchild's graduation ceremony. Working with the Tilles Center and their very full schedule, we were able to move our graduation to Friday, June 27th. This allows our seniors to complete all their finals, Regents and graduation requirements, so that school is truly completed for them prior to the ceremony.
As in the past, seniors and their parents will be receiving all details pertaining to graduation as the event draws near.
