Eclectic Electric – Saturday, May 1, 2010

Roslyn High School's Eclectic Electric will perform its third annual concert on Saturday, May 1 in the Roslyn High School auditorium. The concert will feature hits from AC/DC, Modest Mussorgsky, Coldplay, Foreigner, Aaron Copland, the Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Jean-Luc Ponty, Pink Floyd and Mark Wood.

Eclectic Electric has an electric string quintet, a rock rhythm section, an accompanying acoustic string orchestra, and vocalists. They perform a wide variety of styles and genres from rock ‘n’ roll to traditional fiddle music to legitimate classical repertoire. The ensemble is under the direction of Michael Coffey.

Mailed ticket requests must be received by April 24, 2010 to allow ample time for delivery.
Later requests may be picked up and paid for the night of the concert.
