Proficiency with information technology and excellent oral and written communications skills are required. DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES AND OPERATIONS Must possess NYS SDA or meet Nassau County Civil Service Commission eligibility for appointment. Responsible for school operations, health and safety, maintenance, capital projects, records management, buildings and grounds, and all aspects of the physical plant. Includes hiring and supervision of the department staff, preparation of the department budget and joint planning with contractors, architects and SED officials.
