Dr. John Richman
Superintendent of Schools
Dr. Richman became Roslyn's Superintendent of Schools in July, 2007. He spent the previous eight years as Superintendent of the Plainedge Public Schools. Dr. Richman earned his doctorate in Educational Administration at Columbia University's Teachers College. He also holds two master's degrees, one in Educational Administration from SUNY Albany and the other in Special Education from the College of Saint Rose. He earned his BA in History/Education at Hartwick College. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hofstra University in the Department of Educational Leadership.

Dr. Dan Brenner
Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction
Dr. Brenner was appointed as Assistant Superintendent in Roslyn in 2005. Previously he was the principal of Yorktown High School. He began his educational career as a school psychologist in the Great Neck public schools, becoming principal of that district's Village School in 1995. During the course of his career, he has been a crisis team leader, a basketball coach, a mentor for colleagues and students, and a presenter at conferences about childhood development and other educational issues. Dr. Brenner is a graduate of Tufts University, with a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude, and he has a Master of Science degree and a Doctor of Philosophy from Hofstra University.

Joseph C. Dragone
Assistant Superintendent for Business
Mr. Dragone has been Roslyn's Assistant Superintendent for Business since the fall of 2006. He came to us from the Harborfields School District where he was appointed Assistant Superintendent for Business in 1998 and eventually became Deputy Superintendent there in 2003. Mr. Dragone spent much of his career in the Rockville Centre School District, where he held several administrative positions including principal and assistant superintendent for administration. He has also been a math teacher, director of special education, and an adjunct professor at Hofstra University, C.W. Post and Queens College. He earned his BA in Mathematics and MS in Education from Queens College and Professional Diplomas in School Administration and Supervision from both Queens and Hofstra.

Dr. Edward A. Salina, Jr.
Assistant Superintendent for Administration
Dr. Salina was appointed as Assistant Superintendent in 2007. He first joined the staff of the Roslyn Public Schools in 2001 as Director of Educational Technology, bringing numerous innovations to the district including wider integration of technology into instruction, redesign of computer labs to encourage collaborative learning, and introduction of SmartBoards in classrooms. From 2003 to 2007 he was principal of the East Hills School. He is a graduate of SUNY Farmingdale, with a masters degrees in elementary education and secondary math from C.W. Post, as well as masters and doctoral degrees from Columbia University's Teacher's College. He is an adjunct professor at Long Island University and Touro College.
